This place seems a bit like a college bar at first, then you find two things.
1) the vodka is good and really inexpensive
2) the food is fantastic. I had the mixed pierogi platter and a small half kielbasa platter and it was the best polish food I've had in London. Hands down.
Service is friendly and prompt.
Well done!!! -

The place was a great place to meet with friends for a few drinks and a couple of different foods than found on a normal bar menu. We had some Polish beer along with some perogies. The beet soup was heavenly. The staff was friendly and courteous to us. A good place to go to meet with a few people.

Fantastic Polish food at cheap prices. Six VERY filling and delicious pierogis and a giant bowl of beetroot soup with cabbage dumplings for £10. #winning. I got a mixed veg option and my friend got the full assortment option (including meat) and we both agreed the cheese stuffed one was incredible. With the mushroom sauce as an option, we were quite pleased. My friend also got the kielbasa "snack" and it smelled delicious and she said tasted even better. There is a full stocked Polish vodka menu but we opted for a Polish raspberry spirit that was amazing and cheap! Two shots for £3.50 over rocks.
The place was dead this past Saturday night which was a relief. Last time my friends and I stopped by, it was jammed and the music was deafening, so we dispiritedly left. This time, my friend and I arrived here shortly after 6pm when the bar opened. But even when we left around 9:30, it was almost empty. I would totally come back here!! -

How a place can be so hidden in Covent Garden is beyond me. But for some of the best Polish food I've ever had in the world (including in Poland), wandering through back alleys in London's theater district is worth it!
First and foremost, this place is a traditional Polish bar with a joyful (loud) crowd and music blasting overhead. So it's not a great place for quiet conversation. The space is very sparse and old school with the friendly proprietors working right behind the wooden bar, explaining to the uninitiated the wonders of Polish food (and for those patrons who dare to partake, the further wonders of Polish vodka in little shot glasses). While I did not drink shots of vodka, which seemed to come with a class from the owner on how to properly drink them, I did get the food and it was wonderful.
Starting with the beetroot soup, which satisfied the hunger as an appetizer since it was rich and warm, I proceeded to their Ruskie Pierogis. Each one seemed like it was buttered individually as it melted in my mouth. The problem was they were a bit on the smaller side and at a pound a pierogi, I wish they came in more vegetarian flavors (or more flavors than the three offered in general). The Ruskie with its farmer's cheese (covered in brown onions with sour cream on the side as it should be) were outstanding but I hate mushrooms so the other choice was not good for me.
The side of that classic Polish dish (hey, it does have potato in it) french fries costing only a pound fifty made for a full meal though. The pierogi portion is definitely not large enough to split. And with how good they tasted, you won't want to share them anyway. -

A little tough to find, but worth it. I had a Polish beer on tap and the pierogi plate with a salad. Half the plate was the salad - fresh with a good balance of dressing. The other half of the plate were the delicious homemade pierogis. The menu has a lot on it, including plenty of vodkas. The space is modern yet cozy. I enjoyed my meal - filling and hit the spot!
